About Carla Reed, Minister and Psalmist, Selah Ministries

Carla Reed is the founder and director of Selah Ministries and travels as a speaker and musician across America. She is a licensed, ordained minister, holding credentials with Gospel Crusade Ministerial Fellowship based in Bradenton, FL, and founded by Dr. Gerald Derstine. She is also a ministry associate of Calvary Pentecostal Campground in Ashland, VA, having been mentored and ordained by the late Ruth Ward Heflin. She is a member of the International Healing Rooms Association, based in Spokane, WA and has a great desire to see people healed and delivered in every area of their lives.

In 2002, she and her son, Joshua, completed three prayer circuits driving over 100,000 miles as they drove across America, east to west and back. In 2000, 2001, 2002, they stood on the shores of both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and the Gulf of Mexico declaring revival from "sea to shining sea", lit-er-al-ly. They've met with many pastors and intercessors who have joined them in prayer for revival and unity. As acts of prophetic intercession, they gathered and mixed the actual waters of the oceans, major rivers, lakes, and streams. To date, almost 200 different waters have been gathered and blended together to represent a corporate voice and cry over America. The waters of Israel and other countries have also been added to this unique mixture.

Psalms 33:7 "He gathers the waters of the sea as in a bottle; He puts the deeps in storage places."

Psalms 29:3 "The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of Glory thunders; the Lord is upon many waters."

She has ministered in many churches, conferences, Women's Aglow, church sponsored women's meetings, home and prayer groups and has traveled to all lower 48 states. She has a great love for America and has been actively involved in prayer, prophetic intercession and networking with several national ministries. In addition to speaking, she anoints believers with the actual gathered waters and oils, to impart, signify and pray for the coming together of the many streams of the river of God.

Psalms 46:1 "There is a river, whose streams shall make glad the city of God.

As a musician and prophetic psalmist, she leads many into intimate places of worship as she plays keyboard and sings prophetically. In 2003, she released a CD titled MYSTERIES, of instrumental keyboard prophetic worship and prayer psalms. Many around the world have been blessed by its unique sound of glory and rest. The CD is currently in many states and almost 25 countries. While in Moravian Falls, NC in 2006, her second CD was recorded called ARISE. In June, 2007, a third keyboard CD entitled REFLECTIONS OF GLORY was released. It carries a heavenly sound of peace and glory. Recently, an all original by the Spirit grand piano CD called MORNING GLORY was recorded and has blessed many with classic sounds of worship.

Because of their Jewish heritage, she and Joshua have made several trips to Israel and share their experiences and insights. She challenges and encourages Christians to support Israel and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Carla is the mother of three sons and one daughter and a proud grandmother. She has a BA in Fine Arts and a Minor in Religion from Dakota Wesleyan University, Mitchell, SD. A native of SD, she now resides in Liberty Lake, WA. Joshua joined the army in 2005. He is based with the 82nd Airborne at Ft Bragg, NC. He recently completed 15 months serving in Iraq and is now in Afghanistan.

Carla is available for ministry and worship. She shares the many insights and humorous stories of traveling by faith. Many have received a powerful impartation having been anointed with the gathered and mingled waters of the nation and the world. The collective voice of prayer is upon the waters for unity, revival, and restoration.
